I danced for a long time. I studied at Pacific Northwest Ballet School for a while, then under Donald Byrd at Spectrum Dance Theatre. I focused on it in college for a little bit, but realized that my body was not fit for the stage and changed my career path. Body image was always an issue for me and it was aggravated by wanting the perfect ballerina body. So even though it was my passion, its best that I don’t pursue it anymore. I love dance, if I were not teaching humanities in middle school, I would want to be a ballet teacher. If you look to earlier posts, you will see the combinations I created.
